Apple has announced the availablility for developers to download the beta release of the iPhone SDK. This release will take the iPhone to the next level, allowing iPhone app developers to download the SDK and create web 2.0 software that can intergrate seemlessly into the iPhone's touchscreen User Interface, animation, axis accelerometer and geographical location technology.
This new iPhone Developer Program, which was introduced along side the iPhone SDK will allow third party applications to be purchased wirelessly from the Apple Store and downloaded to the iPhone. What this all means is that in the near future we will begin seeing a throng of new and exciting iPhone applications. The iPhone has now entered into the age of 'iPhone 2.0'!
